CARS4HEROES
Cars4Heroes is a 501c3 non-profit that nationally supports our veterans, first-responders, and their families by supplying sound transportation at no cost to them. LPBW & Team has been involved with Cars4Heroes since 2010, & in 2017, Mandy became a recipient herself in a time of need. In 2019, Cars4Heroes Colorado, a branch of C4H, was founded to serve the Front Range and surrounding areas of Colorado State.
Our Involvement
Through the Years

Terry Franz. founder of Cars4Heroes, first met Mandy Horvath in 2010, when she was just 16. He aided her in saving Christmas for a local family, who had just lost their patriarch, a Marine veteran. Out of 17 thousand applications, Terry listened to her pleas, and together they donated them a car for Christmas.

In 2017, Terry learned of the tragedy that had struck in Ms. Horvath's life resulting in limb loss, and decided to make her a recipient of a 2012 Kia Forte, with the help of Midway Auto Sales.

Cars 4 Christmas 2018, Mandy Horvath returned to Kansas City to give cars away to others in the community at their annual event.

In 2019, Mandy Horvath & Army veteran Travis Strong paired up to climb Pikes Peak, America's Mountain, to raise awareness and funding for Cars4Heroes. After successfully summitting, the pair were privileged to donate a vehicle to a local family.

Also in 2019, Mandy Horvath was honored to travel to New York City to ascend the Statue of Liberty stairwell, in an effort to raise funding and awareness for the non-profit.

In July of 2021, Ms. Horvath invited founder Terry Franz to the Amelia Earhart Pioneering Achievement Award luncheon where she was graciously given a $10,000 honorarium on behalf of the Cloud L Cray Foundation and Midway Auto Sales, to donate back to Cars4Heroes.
CARS4HEROES COLORADO
Cars4Heroes Colorado was established in 2019. It is a branch of the C4H organization, serving the Front-Range and surrounding areas of Colorado State. Our mission is to provide sound transportation to veterans, first-responders, and their families at no cost to them.

We take in donated vehicles from the community, repair them, and donate them back to our heroes in need.
C4H Colorado is a donation sustained non-profit that relies on vehicles being donated, as well as cash donations for repairs to supply heroes with sound transportation. Please consider donating a car or some cash today!
